About Silver Webb
Writer, Artist, and lover of all things foody and magickal!
Silver Webb is oh-so many things. A writer and editor of 20+ years, she is the author of A Hundred Shattered Stars, a short story collection available for purchase on amazon. In Summer 2026, her novella The Pale will be published. She founded The Santa Barbara Literary Journal and was editor-in-chief of it for seven years.
If only Cal Poly had said yes, Silver would’ve started off her professional life as a graphic designer. But Cal Poly said, “Great portfolio, but it’s fine art not design work.” A few years later, Silver taught herself graphic design as a graduate student, when she was co-editor of a student journal. And that fine art Cal Poly said was great? Can you call what Silver refers to as her “naked fairies in space” paintings “fine art”? No. But they make her heart happy, and she hopes they make you smile too.
A delighter in cupcakes, an ever-hopeful baker (despite many kitchen calamities), a lover of cookbooks, and truly blessed to have had so many wonderful treats, meals, and celebrations with people she loves. Silver has been a food writer for Food & Home Magazine, Chocolats du Calibressan, and Kanaloa Seafoods. For a few years, she was the Boston Bakery Babe, blogging about the many lovely bakeries in Boston, until she moved back to California.
Silver loves the art and the mystery of oracle cards, tarot, and all things magickal…pretty much anything published by Llewellyn. She is currently working on art for her own oracle deck.
