Design ~ Writing ~ Social Media ~ Editing
A Harvard-educated writer and designer. I’m passionate about the craft of wordsmithing, the inspiration of content generation, and clear, creative design. They are all forms of storytelling, from social media, interviews, articles, marketing materials, to books. The magic of story is manifold, whether it is a well-timed social post that inspires a person to learn more, an interview or a course flyer that opens a new path, or a magazine that fosters community. Below you will find representations of my work (some accredited to Silver Webb, my pen name, and Angela Borda, my maiden name).
Social Media
Telling stories that build community. Content generation, image sourcing, design, and scheduling. Photoshop, Canva, Loomly, Hubspot.
Printed Materials
From conference programs to newsletters to event posters, I delight in designing material to draw the eye and invite the viewer in.
Publications
Creating magazines, journals, catalogues, and more with engaging visual style. Cover design, layout, editorial, content development.
Book Cover Design
Long after most of my peers have succumbed to the allure of a Kindle reader, I’ve championed the exquisite art of the book, designing covers and internal layout to showcase the stories.
Reels
I create dynamic, persuasive reels for social media and websites. To see more examples of my work, you can peruse the “shorts” section of my new YouTube channel.
Editor
I’ve served as co-editor of Harvard’s Dudley Review, a contributing editor to Taiwan Literature English Translation Series, and the founder/editor of the Santa Barbara Literary Journal (2018-2024).
Food Writing
From 2015 to 2019, I contributed articles and even my own column, “Downtown Dish,” to Food & Home, exploring and reporting back on everything from rattlesnake bratwurst to the perfect beverage to sip on State Street. I also wrote for Kanaloa Seafoods and Calibressan Chocolates.
From 2022 to 2025, I contributed articles and interviews to Pacifica Post, the news section of Pacfica Graduate Insitute’s website. I was privileged to discuss depth psychology with many of Pacifica’s distinguished scholars, creating a voice of scholastic inquiry that built a sense of community among alumni, students, and faculty.
